The Creation Source within us all

What I learned in Luna is that, if we get to that place where we understand that God – or the Creation Source — is in all things and in all of us, we can see that we too are nature, that nature is in all of us. I learned in Luna that nature is not separate from us – we are nature just as surely as the earth is. I learned in the tree that nature is not ours to possess, rather that nature is ours to protect. I learned that God is, and God is in all things, that the sacred is in all things. And so when I pray, I can receive an answer from the trees, from the wind, from the rain, from the birds – from everything. Because God is in that bird just as surely as God is within my heart – and God is in each and every one of us. And whether one believes in the Christian God or not, it is your understanding of the higher Creation Source. However you relate to that Source, it is in all things. And as it is in all things, then if you go to that Source, you can receive an answer from that source – and it can be the person next to you, even chair you’re sitting on, if you’re just open to it.

Thank you and blessings! I just taught a high school English class where we looked at your essay Surviving the Storm: Lessons from Luna. Your words and learning about your journey was moving and inspiring for my students. Through this short reading experience and learning about your story, they felt more connected and open to the lessons around them in new ways.

    Best wishes,

    Craig

I just finished reading The Legacy of Luna while I was hiking in Redwood National Park. And I made a visit and saw that Luna still stands. Julia, you are an amazing human being and your insight regarding us being a part of nature is right on. I am sorry to hear that you went through some difficult personal times, and I hope that you have made it through those times and are enjoying peace now. Know that you are loved by many.

Only now heard of the thing you did back in the 90’s. Explained it to my children too. The world would benefit from more people like yourself, just a shame there are so few.

You are a legend and have inspired so many.
Just heard about you via a Facebook link.
Simplifying my beliefs to God as the source of all has helped me.
Outside all religions, realities, energy and confusion.
Hopefully, you’re staying happy and well.
