I invite people to recognize the joy in simplicity, the power in simplicity. Because when people hear that I’m a joyous vegan, car-free, walk and ride a bike as often as I can, touring in a bus powered by vegetable oil… people think, that must be boring; the food must be bland; you must be really sad and upset – do I look it?!… It is the most joyous, life-affirming choice to let go of disposability consciousness and to reclaim every moment, every day, every choice as a step towards healing.

Thank you! Christ Consciousness, Gandhi Consciousness, Buddha Consciousness, Rumi Consciousness. All the great understanders of truth recognised simplicity as a key to their understanding and to true, lasting happiness. You’re in good company Julia! I guess simplicity makes it easier to see what is real, as opposed to all the accumulations that we use to try to define and shape ourselves and our surroundings. With much love!
