We The Planet

For years, I’ve wanted to change “We The People” to be “We The Planet.” Change begins to happen when we feel ourselves as deeply interconnected and interwoven with all living things – with the rocks, the trees, the sky, the stars, the animals, and each other. So, instead of seeing it as something separate from, we begin to feel these as a part of ourselves. In my experience, when we begin to feel that, everything begins to change.

That’s interesting, I’ve never considered “We the Planet” as a concept though the past few years I have expanded my definition of “People” to include all life. I happen to believe that the stars and all the planets in the universe are alive with sentient consciousness. All life is equally respected in the heart and mind of the creator, so to speak. We humans in general have gone terribly awry, forming illusory hierarchys that have effectively forced most of us, through fear, to disrespect those beings considered lower in the hierarchy. In my humble estimation Trees are the utmost spiritually evolved beings in the universe and are treated worse than anybody. I do what I can to help Nature in general flourish; I choose my battles very carefully and am becoming more fearless as time goes on and learning to do despite fear, in some cases. The thought of you staying with Luna for nearly two years was a spiritual “Kick in the butt” for me. You courage is inspiring. Thank you.
