As a nurse, I face the unknown on a daily basis. Recently, a troupe of warriors has gathered to support me emotionally and physically as i face this current crisis we are all experiencing. I did not become a nurse for awards or accolades. I became a nurse because I have always felt a need to serve and heal. This pandemic we are all facing is taking a toll on even the strongest of “servers”. Each day I am lifted in spirits and courage by beautiful acts of kindness which come out of nowhere. Most recently it was a friend telling me to be like a willow tree; to swag and bend with the winds. I mentioned that to another friend who brought me to the “legacy of Luna “. We are all connected. I thank you for all you have brought to the world Julia. I hope you are finding peace, safer and mostly HOPE in times of uncertainty.
