“My experience in the tree taught me what’s possible for us. We often feel that our heart can’t hold our suffering anymore. And when we reach those points, if we’re willing to let go, that’s when our heart breaks. When our heart breaks, that means it’s getting bigger. It means our capacity to love in even more difficult situations has now grown bigger. It is the experiences of our past that teach us our heart isn’t enough. It is the teachings of our society that we are not enough. Yet my experience has taught me that we are more than enough. But our more than enough is directly proportional to how much we are willing to let go – of our beliefs, of our rigidity, of our desire to control, of our fear. Our willingness to allow our heart to break over and over again is to know that we will actually grow. “
