Spring Cleaning

Yesterday was Spring Equinox. Long before religions like Christianity, Judaism, and Islam ever came into being, there was a deep and profound reverence for Creation. When people knew and remembered that there is no separation between the Creator and All of Creation.

Where time was based on Nature’s rhythms, like the cycles of the moon (instead of being based on men with egos which is what we have now and why we have absolutely idiotic months with varying days and leap years.) Where trees and water and mountains, the moon and the sun and the stars were all here to be our teachers.

As we lost that deep and profound connection to the Sacredness of Nature itself, we began to see ourselves as separate. And from that moment on, we have continued to destroy the very life force from which we birth and to which we return.

We created the Disease of Disconnect. It is this disease that is wreaking such havoc, pain, violence, and destruction on the Earth of which we are one and all of its beings and life– and now even beyond the Earth, trashing the heavens, the great Cosmos in which our tiny little island home spins.

At this time of the year, may we look into our own lives and see how even those amongst us who feel we are “conscious” and aware of these things, how even we, have inherited the Disease of Disconnect.
During this time of “Spring Cleaning” may we look to clear out old habits that are not healthy for the Earth, our world, our bodies, and our children and their future.

May we pay attention to what new growth we truly want to see in the world, and then plant those seeds in EVERY thought, word, and action. For every thought, word, and action– and i mean EVERY– leads us either towards healing or disconnect, towards love or away from it.
